Blacbarc is a truly international publishing entity, based in international waters and printing in small villages across the world. With a co-op ownership structure and an editorial staff spanning the globe, we only partner with small local bookstores to ensure strong and lasting business relationships rooted in elevated ethics and material authenticity. From this niche liminal space, we bring to life original works that add new dimension to the conversations around philosophy, spirituality, and the political and economic systems within which we all live.
Right now, we are accepting original fiction for a literary zine due to be published on December 21, 2023. We ask that all submissions be a single chapter excerpt from a novel manuscript that is at least 50% complete.
